1. Agreement and Apple terms
These product terms supplement Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA). If these terms conflict with Apple’s mandatory terms for an App Store transaction, Apple’s terms control to the extent of that conflict.
Read Apple’s Standard EULA2. The app
Luma Remote is an iPhone utility for discovering, pairing with, and controlling compatible LG webOS televisions on the same local network. Features include remote buttons, TV text input, touch controls, app and input launchers, Wake-on-LAN where supported, and a customizable Remote Studio. Available commands depend on the television model, firmware, region, current input, and on-screen context.
3. Compatibility and pairing
You are responsible for using a compatible television, keeping the iPhone and TV on an appropriate local network, granting iOS Local Network permission, and entering the PIN displayed on the television. Some televisions or firmware versions may support only on-screen approval rather than PIN pairing and therefore may not be compatible with this app’s pairing method.
4. Ten-minute free use
The app provides up to ten minutes of remote-control use without a purchase. The counter advances while the app is in the foreground and connected to a television. Disconnecting the TV or placing the app in the background does not extend the total allowance by creating a new trial. When the allowance reaches zero, remote commands are locked until lifetime access is purchased or a previously purchased entitlement is restored.
5. Lifetime purchase, restoration, and refunds
- Lifetime access is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase. It is not a recurring subscription.
- Apple displays the applicable price and tax information before you confirm the purchase.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID when Apple confirms the transaction.
- You can use Restore Purchase in the app to recover an eligible lifetime entitlement associated with the same Apple ID.
- Apple controls billing, payment authorization, refunds, and App Store purchase support. Refund eligibility is determined under Apple’s policies and applicable law.
6. Your remote layout and device settings
Remote layouts and pairing settings are stored locally for your convenience. You are responsible for reviewing the controls placed on an active remote and for keeping the device secure. Deleting the app, resetting settings, or changing devices may remove a local layout or require reconnection. Purchase restoration does not restore a custom layout from another device.
7. Safe and acceptable use
Use Luma Remote only with televisions and networks you own or are authorized to control. Do not use the app to disrupt another person’s device, bypass network or television security, interfere with a service, reverse engineer protected components, automate abusive commands, or violate applicable law. Keep attention on your surroundings and do not operate equipment in an unsafe manner.
8. Independent product and third-party services
Luma Remote is provided by Glayzer LLC and is not affiliated with, authorized, sponsored, or endorsed by LG Electronics Inc. LG, webOS, and related marks belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe compatibility. Apple provides the App Store, StoreKit, and transaction services under its own terms.
9. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the app reliable but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation with every router, television, firmware update, network configuration, or third-party app. We may change or discontinue a feature when reasonably necessary for compatibility, security, legal compliance, or platform requirements. A lifetime purchase grants access to the purchased app entitlement; it does not guarantee perpetual compatibility with future third-party hardware or services.
10. Warranty and consumer rights
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that every command will be accepted by every television or that Wake-on-LAN will work on every network. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty, remedy, or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Glayzer LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from network availability, incompatible hardware, third-party services, or unauthorized use of your device. Any limitation applies only to the extent allowed in your jurisdiction and does not affect non-waivable consumer rights.
12. Updates, termination, and contact
You may stop using the app at any time. Access may be restricted where reasonably necessary to address fraud, abuse, a security threat, or a legal requirement. We may update these terms when the app, platform, or law changes; the effective date identifies the current version.
